The palate is filled with flavors of black currants and plum that lead seamlessly to silky tannins and black cherry notes. Blackberry, Mission fig and black cherry notes linger on the finish. The combination of elegance and intensity make it a fitting vintage to celebrate 40 years of Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy now after decanting for 30 minutes or cellar through 2035. The dark fruit flavors, silky palate and structure make it a lovely wine for food pairing. This wine’s elegance, acidity and spice notes complement grilled or roasted dishes, such as herb-crusted lamb, roasted chicken or grilled pork loin. Washington, Columbia Valley Winemaker Notes: Inspired by the great wines of Germany and winemaker Armin Diel, proprietor of the renowned Schlossgut Diel. Each vintage of Poet’s Leap uses small lots of hand-harvested grapes that are carefully sorted, whole cluster pressed and then fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to capture the grapes’ bright fruit character. Poet’s Leap is an off-dry Riesling with expressive, spicy aromatics and generous, lively flavors. Bright acidity gives the wine its vibrancy, and a clean underlying touch of sweetness contributes to its engaging finish.

Willamette Valley, Oregon Winemaker Notes: Our flagship wine, King Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris, reflects an excellence recognized worldwide. Made with the best selection of grapes each year, the 2017 vintage was sourced primarily from King Estate’s certified Biodynamic® and organic vineyard as well as a handful of like-minded sustainably-farmed vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley. 2017 King Estate Pinot Gris is a beautiful example from a classic Oregon vintage. This wine has a pale straw color with glistening edges. Fresh fruit aromas of ripe pear and lime zest are followed by pleasant honeysuckle notes. On the palate, there are lively flavors of nectarine, ripe pear, and fresh cut pineapple, highlighted by violet tinges. This is a rich, viscous Pinot Gris, with a striking balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity.

Shines with bright, crisp flavors. Rose petal elements highlight aromas of apple, pear and orange blossom. Flavors of crisp Fuji apple, pear and minerality mingle on the mid-palate, rounding out a medium-bodied mouthfeel with nice acidity and a refreshing, bright finish.

Oregon, Willamette Valley Winemaker Notes: The 2018 REX HILL Seven Soils Chardonnay is complex and bright, with a golden straw, slightly burnished color. On the nose, aromas of lemon peel, quince, whole cream, apple, pear and white flowers present. The rich palate has a silky texture with creamy flavors, hinting of toasted almonds or macadamia nuts, citrus slices drizzled with honey, as well as notes of green tea and crème brulée with caramel undertones. The wine finishes long and juicy, promising age worthiness. Very Oregonian.

Oregon, Willamette Valley Winemaker Notes: The Cuvée Lunatique is a fresh and clean Chardonnay that is made in a style similar to the white wines of the Mâcon in Burgundy. To preserve its bright fruit and crisp structure, it is produced mostly in stainless steel, with no malolactic fermentation. A part of this cuvée was matured in a large, neutral oak cask to give it a bit more mid-palate texture, but still does not impart any oak taste to the wine.

As you pour, you are greeted with stone fruit aromas of white peach and nectarine along with scents of juicy melon combining with oak spice hints of vanilla, toasted nuts, light caramel and subtle notes of cinnamon. The creamy richness of this wine boasts flavors of ripe pear and peach that give it an elegant, beautiful balance that is seamless from start to finish. Our V’19 Sonoma Coast is mouth filling with lots of finesse that leads to a lush finish. The balanced vibrant acidity and long barrel spice finish round out a nice length of flavor. Pair this wine alongside chicken, risotto, or seafood dishes.

California, Napa Valley, Carneros Winemaker Notes: Pale light yellow with a green hue. Aromas of ripe peach, honeydew, and lemon rind intertwine seamlessly with vanilla and spice. The aromas are followed by flavors of lychee and yellow peach which meld perfectly with the cream texture, vanilla and slight butter. The finish builds with more peach and spice, while the acidity maintains the freshness and structure. The wine will continue to gain weight and depth over the next 12 months, revealing additional notes of nectarine, butter and spice. Pair this with tuna-avocado burgers, lobster rolls and fettuccine with salmon and asparagus

The Cristom Estate Viognier exhibits the pure, and nearly textbook, characteristics of this varietal, with aromas of orange blossoms, honeysuckle, clover and anise as well as the ripe fruit aromas of peach, apricot, and lychee. Round and viscous on the palate, the wine is drier than the exotic fruits on the nose would lead you to believe. The attendant alcohol of this varietal is very well integrated in this perfectly balanced wine. Bright and mouth-watering acidity support the fruit superstructure of this wine

Oregon, Willamette Valley Winemaker Notes: The Bluebird Cuvee Sparkling is designated as a Brut level of sweetness. Expressing aromatics of lychee and baguette. There are notes of spiced apple cider on the nose and on the palate, and the finish is crisp pear with bright acidity and fine bubbles.

Reims, France Winemaker Notes: Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is the signature champagne of the House. Dominated by Pinot Noir, it offers a perfect balance of structure and finesse. First, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label looks beautiful: golden-yellow, with a foaming necklace of tiny bubbles. Next it is so pleasing to the nose: initially reminiscent of yellow and white fruits, then of vanilla and later of brioche. Note the fine balance between the fruity aromas coming from the grape varieties and the toasty aromas, the result of the three years of bottle aging. The first sip delivers all the freshness and strength so typical of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label with a symphony of fruit tastes following (pear, lemon). Oregon, "Laurene Vinyard" Dundee Valley Winemaker Notes: The run of Pinot Noir Laurene is a selection of the best barrels from Domaine Drouhin fruit. Pale to medium ruby, it has an open-knit nose of crushed blackberries, spiced cranberry sauce, forest floor, allspice, citrus peel and tree bark. It’s medium bodied with intense, spicy fruits, a grainy frame and seamless freshness, finishing very long.

Oregon, "Dundee Hills" Willamette Valley Winemaker Notes: This seductive, elegant wine leads with vibrant floral notes of lilac and violet. These floral components are joined by touches of cherry, red raspberry, blood orange, and a hint of cocoa powder. Secondary notes of black licorice, berry bramble, and rosemary complement the leading fruit flavors. The flavors are persistent and saturating, enveloping the palate and lingering through a refined, balanced finish.

Willamette Valley, Oregon Winemaker Notes: #37 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2020 Dark black cherry in color, the Cumberland Reserve is perfumed with red roses, floral pastilles, dark cherry and black raspberry candies, savory garden herbs, sweet mushrooms, and meaty bouillon. This vintage is fresh and light on its feet; with good floral perfume and a generous persistence of ripe, crunchy red and dark fruits with fine ripe tannins and a stony mineral structure.

Dundee Hills, OR Winemaker Notes: The Dundee Hills Incline from our Iron Filbert Vineyard has flamboyant aromas of nectarine, raspberry, hibiscus and rose. On the palate, it shows a deep intense flavor profile, rounded by silky tannins. Although this wine has lots of flavor concentration, it maintains a remarkable balance. Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley Winemaker Notes: We rang in 2017 with three arctic fronts that brought temperatures down to -10 in the coldest areas. This was followed by a cool, wet spring that pushed bud break back by two weeks. We opened our canopies early to allow additional sunlight and promote growth. Early summer was very warm, which accelerated the season and pushed ripening back on track. During the heat spikes in August we had a very slight haze that kept us from hitting the triple digits. As we rolled into harvest, the winds changed and our skies cleared. The weather in Walla Walla was ideal, with our usual long warm days and wonderfully cool evenings. “The result was another amazing vintage with nice yields of bold fruit with great acidity,” says Winemaker and Partner Jean-François Pellet. Walla Walla Valley, WA Winemaker Notes: The 2018 vintage is drinking absolutely beautifully right now and was a great year for wine growers in Walla Walla. Rich and dark fruit, almost cab like earthiness which balances the Syrah fruit very well. The age has worked well integrating all of the complex flavors and you experience a mature, well rounded wine. Tocchini Notes: A very recent introduction for me on this one, but it feels like it fits a Walla Walla slot that we don’t normally populate. Dennis, you’ll love this one. These folks are 35 year Lake O residents who In 2005 planted two acres of Syrah in an old river bed in the NE corner of the Walla Walla valley between Abeja and Charles Smith vineyard. It’s a BIG wine, but nimble on it’s feet, like William Perry. Extra points if you get reference!!

Walla Walla Valley, Washington Winemaker Notes: Complex and compelling, this estate-grown Syrah sends up smoky notes of cured meat, nougat and caramel. Black cherry fruit anchors the barrel notes, and it just gets more and more delicious as it winds its way across the palate. This demonstrates classy winemaking and perfect balance. The fruit for this wine is grown at an elevation of 1310 feet on the grounds of the Winery. The higher elevation and the proximity to the Blue Mountains, gives this vineyard a longer, cooler ripening season than most other areas of the Walla Walla Appellation. The cooler site results in a style much like that of a classic Northern Rhone with complexity and balance without the concentration and higher alcohol levels of Syrah produced in warmer areas.

Washington, Columbia Valley Winemaker Notes: Coming from the Colombia Valley and all Syrah, the 2015 Syrah Baby Bear spent 30 months in barrel prior to bottling. Saturated purple-colored (to the rim), with a stunning bouquet of spiced plums, smoked blueberries, ground pepper, and barbecued meat, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, sweet tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. As always, it's impeccably made and one serious wine.

Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley Winemaker Notes: I can’t say enough how much I love the 2018 vintage and this wine - an absolutely stunning year and a vintage that shows a winemaker how great wines can really be. I tasted this new Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon over a week and it kept getting better and changing in complexity. One true challenge is creating a wine that will age for decades but will also drink well on release. I think 2017 accomplished that to perfection. Crème de cassis, black currant, blackberry, wafts of dried cranberry, a hint of wet gravel after a fresh rain and pencil shavings. The richness of this wine is a love affair- chewy tannins and a long, long finish is something that I truly gravitate towards in wines that I enjoy on a personal level and it is on high display here. Everything is in balance

Dry, moderate plus bodied, with ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and a touch of red fruit brightness on the entry. The name Antica is a combination of the last name Antinori and California, and represents the Antinori family’s longstanding desire to craft exceptional estate wines that are a true expression of Napa Valley terroir. The Antinori family’s winemaking history has been synonymous with the famed wine growing regions of Tuscany and Umbria since its inception more than 600 years ago. Marchese Piero Antinori first visited and fell in love with Napa Valley in 1966, after which he dreamt of producing an Antinori Napa Valley wine. In the mid-1980s, the opportunity presented itself; a 1,200-acre estate on a high plain, in the eastern mountains of Napa Valley. Antinori knew that the property’s Atlas Peak location had great potential for growing quality wine grapes, so the family took part in developing the property. Situated above the fog line, the Antica estate offers a mix of steep, rocky soils in its higher elevations and loamy, well-drained soils in the lower ones. There are more than 50 blocks within the estate, a true patchwork quilt that takes advantage of the variations in soil, elevation, and exposure to best match varietal, rootstock, and clone to attain the ideal expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. The high altitude (1,800 feet) means cooler daytime temperatures, which provides a long growing season, and gives the grapes complexity, enhanced textures, and dark colors. The steep, rocky and well-drained soils result into low yields (three pounds) per vine, but the fully ripened grapes show great structure with concentrated fruit, and focused and persistent flavors. Tannins are ripe, balanced, and integrated.

Washington, Columbia Valley Winemaker Notes: Coming from a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Syrah, and 6% Petit Verdot, this enticing and intense blend from winemaker Gilles Nicault spends 30 months in French oak barrels with 85% being new. A gorgeous deep ruby color in the glass, the nose explodes with aromas of black plum, black currant compote, ground cinnamon stick, eucalyptus, white tobacco leaf and a touch of butterscotch roasted marshmallow. The palate is more savory than fruit-forward than the nose, with dark cherry fruits playing second fiddle to saline, iron, bacon fat, toasted black peppercorn and dried thyme. It’s a complex and beautiful wine that will need another year or two in bottle to come into its own. Highly recommended.

Long Shadows Series Columbia Valley, WA Winemaker Notes: Among Tuscany's oldest and most prestigious wine families, Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari teamed with Allen Shoup to produce a wine that showcases Washington State's terroir with plenty of Italian character. Saggi (meaning "wisdom") is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Budbreak was later than usual in 2017 due to a cool, wet spring, but temperatures warmed nicely for bloom. Conditions moderated in early summer before warming again in July to drive total heat accumulation a bit above average for the season. Harvest began towards the end of August, then temperatures cooled considerably in mid-September to extend hang time and allow the grapes to reach full physiological maturity without spiking sugars. The resulting wines are rich and expressive, displaying excellent acidity and structure that is reflective of the quality of the vintage. Handpicked grapes were gently crushed and fermented in small, two-ton tanks. Then, using a technique called saignée (French for “to bleed”), 5-10% of the juice was removed from the tank at the beginning of fermentation to increase the proportion of grape skins to juice. This results in a richer, more concentrated wine. Small lot, extended maceration for an average of 30 days provided refined tannins and a silky mouthfeel. Aged 18 months in all French oak barrels (60% new).
